Vadim Yershov and balErik need to introduction, after the recent success of 'Everybody'. Their second release on the label, 'Dirty Dubbin' is in sharp contrast to the moodiness of their last single: a piano-heavy slice of feel-good house.
Supplying the remix is a man who's very much in demand right now. Part of Timo Maas and Santos's Rockets & Ponies label, alongside long-term collaborator Alex Dolby, he's been responsible for a few high-profile originals and remixes lately; releasing on labels like Sud Beat and Monique along the way. Here he transforms the original into a rolling, techy workout, perfect for the darker floors; building his remix round the piano chords in trademark Roma style and adding a vocal snippet that gives it an inherently hypnotic quality.
