ABOUT "TORN"
This latest release from Loöq Records comes out of a joint production by Liverpool base Paul Kieran (Baroque, Polytechnic) and Native (GU, Pangea) who hails from Australia. "Torn" is one of those tracks that walks in two worlds. While unmistakably built for the dance floor with a huge progressive sound and soaring atmospherics, it also carries a heavy dose of indie rock sounds, including a dark vocal by Mark Nunan. The combo yields a storming club track that also carries with it shades of New Order, Bauhaus and other post-punk indie outfits. Remixes complements of Christian Cambas (Devilock, Bedrock, Audiotherapy), and fresh Bay Area talent Churn (Will Spencer and Arron "URN" Maurer ).
